The Methodical Swarm of Lyrida will be active this year between 16. and April 25 with an expected maximum 22.April o 4.10 OUT. For the past thirty years, there has been hourly activity (RD) in maximum always higher than 18, while in 1982 has reached a value of up to 90 – outside the expected maximum time. The maximum width is variable, from 14,8 hours of the year 1993 after 61,7 hours of the year 2000, with a mean value of about 32 hours.
The best times for JZ-SV connections 03-06 OUT, in the V-Z direction 04-09 UT a JV-SZ 07-09, in the S-J direction, the Lyrides are unsuitable for connections.
