The Eta-Aquarids are among the more significant meteor showers for radio amateurs. The swarm will be active od 19.apríla do 28.mája 2004. Pohybuje sa rýchlosťou 66 km/s. Mesiac zhorší vizuálne pozorovanie v maxime, ktoré pripadá na 5.mája. To je pomerne široké, pričom sa očakáva maximálny počet odrazov za hodinu (ZHR) okolo 60.
The most suitable time for connections in the SW-NW direction is 07-10 UT, in the E-W direction 04-09 UT and in the SE-NW direction it is 06-10 UTC. In the N-S direction, the best time for connections is not.
