The Amsat program is slowly but surely receiving another stroke from grace. After the last failure and the "sending" of three cubesats into the Atlantic, there is apparently another embarrassment to the name Arissat-1... I can't do it, I have to share not only my feelings about another upcoming embarrassment named Arissat-1, Radioskaf-V, Kedr, or what is the name of this satellite...

The Amsat program is slowly and surely receiving another stroke of grace. After the last failure and "submit" three cubesats to the Atlantic there is another embarrassment named Arissat-1. It seems that its delayed launch is starting to have clear reasons - the malfunctioning of the satellite. The promised activation on board the ISS has also not yet taken place, unverified information about a faulty on-board battery is leaking. However, the behavior of Nasa and Amsat is particularly frustrating, when in the age of advanced communication technologies they are unable to provide serious information about the current situation even within two days. Suffice it to say - we're screwed. For many people, those three words would save a lot of effort and wasted time waiting for "it might just work". While the whole world eagerly awaits the Arissat-1 signal at every flyby, the officials of the aforementioned organizations make it clear to us that they are not interested in us at all. The official websites of Nasa, Amsat and Arissat are silent, the crew of the ISS send their greetings to the whole world because today is the "ANNIVERSARY" - and that's actually the end of it.
It's a shame that the officials mentioned above don't seem to read their own official e-mail conferences (Amsat BB), maybe they could find out there what the whole radio amateur world thinks about this embarrassment. Then they may not even be surprised that the willingness to contribute to the next steps of the Amsat program is at zero.
However, radio amateurs are still a strange creature, because despite everything written above, I will be sitting at the radio on the next available flight and waiting, "what if..."
