Friends and comrades, on Saturday 20.3.2021 he died of complications with COVID Ludvík Kouřil, OK2BDS from Třebíč.
Ludva was mainly engaged in operation at VHF. In the 60s and 70s he was very active from the TV station in Javořice and achieved very good results. He was the long-term chairman and VO of the Třebíč radio club OK2KAJ. Together with his friends from the radio club, he also organized VKV seminars in Třebíč, some of the proceedings can still be found today. After retirement, for several years together with OK2BST (SK) he devoted himself to youth in the electronics club at DDM Trebišov.
He was active at VKV until the end of his life. Many of you probably have a connection with him on 70cm and 23cm, where he could be found in every operational asset and big VKV race. I met him in 1994, when I moved to Třebíč. In my beginnings, he was my advisor and teacher and was always willing to lend a helping hand, such as advice, measurements, or messy material.
In recent years, in addition to broadcasting, he has also been involved in aircraft modeling, where he has also been relatively successful.
The last time I saw him was a month ago, when they introduced a total lockdown. He still had a lot of plans for the future and was also full of optimism at this time, as he had been throughout his life. Unfortunately, fate wanted it
otherwise...
