The race is held every year in honor of the anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising, connecting stations OM, OK and Slovaks or Czechs abroad. The organizer of the race is the Vrútky radio club, OM3KFV. Individuals and club stations with one operator can participate, the organizer is the radio club OM3KFV Vrútky. The competition takes place on the 80m CW and SSB bands in two one-hour stages with different categories and scoring. The contest code includes information about QSO, zip code and district, while the evaluation includes points for connections with OM, OK, Slovaks, Czechs and foreign stations. Slovaks and Czechs abroad enter the zip code and district emblem of the place they come from in the competition code. The results are announced at a meeting of Slovak radio amateurs and in the magazine Radiožurnál.

QRO power is according to the permit conditions, QRP maximum 10W power or 5W power. Listeners (category P) can also participate under normal conditions - Competition code: In the first stage: RST (RS), QSO number from 001, postal code QTH and the initials of the operator's name and surname, e.g. 579 001 03861 JM (Jozko Motycka from Vrutok)
In the second stage: RST (RS), QSO number (which continues from the first stage), district code and the last two digits of the operator's year, e.g. 559 037 MAR 43 (Martin district, operator's yearbook 1943)
Stations that work /p in field conditions give the PSC of the nearest village or settlement. * Other foreign stations give only RST and QSO number, e.g. 579 001 - Scoring: 5 points for QSOs with OM, OK, Slovaks and Czechs abroad
1 point for other foreign stations - Multiples: Each new PSC and each new district emblem
- Result: The sum of QSO points from both stages is multiplied by the sum of multiples from both stages. In categories A3 and B3, 2 connections can be established with the same station at each stage, one on CW and one on SSB. However, the time difference between such QSOs must be at least 10 minutes. Each such connection is worth 5 points. However, the multiples are calculated only once in each stage, regardless of the method of broadcasting (CW, SSB)

Uniformly printed diaries and front pages make evaluation easier and faster. Enclose an envelope with your address and stamp. Address for electronic mail in text format:
- Evaluation: At a meeting of Slovak radio amateurs (usually in November in the Tatras) and in the magazine Radiozurnal. Stations broadcasting in /p field conditions will be evaluated separately. However, their full QTH must be listed on the front page of the diary
- Diplomas: All participants of the race who sent the competition diary for evaluation
- Prizes: Vitaz of each category (depends on the minimum number of 5 participants)
