The first plans to make the first OM-SP connections on the 24GHz bands and above began to be born at the meeting at Troch Studnia. The entire preparation was preceded by intensive communication between the parties involved. Peter OM6TX and Janko OM3ID took part in the trials for the Slovak side.
Janko OM3ID s Tatier set off on Sunday morning, August 3, and continued after building the equipment the first QSO OM – SP on 24GHz with SP6RYL. After pointing the antennas, it was possible to connect first QSO OM – SP also on 47GHz, whose actors were Stan SP6BTV and Peter OM6TX.
As the last was also carried out the first QSO OM – SP on 76GHz, whose actors were Stan SP6BTV and Janko OM3ID.
Míla OK1UFL/p established the first OK - OM connections on 47 GHz and 76 GHz with Janko OM3ID. Congratulations!
