Only quotas are registered for the race. Several stations can work from one dimension, as long as they work on different bands. The station working on the lower band has the preferential right to choose a location.
The monitored criteria for assigning a quota in a disputed case (when a quota is requested by two or more stations) are in the following sequence:
1. Application submission date. If the date is illegible, the date of delivery of the application is decisive.
2. Participation and evaluation in VKV races last year.
3. The club station takes precedence over the individual station.
4. Regular use of the VKV quota during the year.
5. Number of registered bands (competition categories).
6. On elevations without an electrical network, priority is given to the station that wants to participate in races in categories that do not allow the use of an electrical network for power supply, on elevations with an electrical network, priority is given to the station that participates in races in categories where it is allowed to use network power.
7. Lottery.
Odds applications are sent two months before the race. The start of sending applications is the first working day of the respective month. To determine the start of sending applications, the date is not decisive, but the month in which the race will take place. For example, for races held in July, the start of sending applications is the first working day in May.
