The Youth Field Day (PDM) is one of the traditional ones VHF a race organized by the Slovak Association of Radio Amateurs with the aim of supporting the interest of young operators in practical operation on the bands and teamwork in field conditions. The race takes place every year during the first weekend of June and is intended primarily for radio amateur circles, clubs and individuals under 18 years of age.

The race takes place in the 144 MHz and 432 MHz bands. Youth Field Day is not just a competition in numbers QSO, but also a school of technical skills, planning and team coordination. Participants often build their own antennas, use portable power supplies and solve problems directly in the field, which gives them valuable experience.
