Solar eruption class X1.0 AR 2887 just before the CQ WW DX Contest
A large solar flare of class X1.0 was observed around AR 2887 O 15:35 UTC 28. October 2021. Type II radio emission with an estimated rate was recorded 1263 km/s. An impact around our planet should be expected this weekend and it will be good news for observers of the aurora borealis sky.. But this weekend is also taking place CQ WW DX Contest, which means that the conditions of propagation will be affected by this solar eruption.
