The eighth grade is behind us. The conditions were weaker at first, but it was possible. The participation is quite decent so far, new ex OL stations are added (this year OK2BYW, OM3CMK, OK1DWQ, OK1DXQ, OK1FET, OK1MTA, OK2PE, OK1PFM and OK2QW) and, of course, they also decrease. It is a pity that some participants did not send a message - it does not take much work and there is enough time for it (?). It is standard to know that we are aging, as is the entire HAM population. I'm quite curious how long we'll drag it out 🙂
Next year I am planning a change - a new Retro 160 m category. For those attending with the transmitter they used in their OL glory days. Many are broadcasting on it even now, so why not give it more publicity. So take it down from the attic, dust it and try it, it might come in handy!
