After a period of reorganization and preparations, the well-known DX expedition is returning to the airwaves 6O3T. The new team he is forming Fabri IV3JPP, Mauro IV3AZV a Elvira IV3FSG, announced its launch on October 17, 2025 with a clear goal - to bring radio amateurs around the world new connections with a rarely activated country Somalia (prefix 6O).
Under the password "We Are Back Again!" (Sme späť!) sa tím prezentuje ako dynamická trojica s čerstvou energiou, prepracovanou logistikou a modernizovaným technickým vybavením. Po dôkladnej príprave a analýze miestnych podmienok chce 6O3T ponúknuť rádioamatérskej komunite nielen spoľahlivé spojenia, ale aj šancu na vzácne ATNO (All Time New One). The team worked on the optimization of antenna systems, effective coordination and rapid deployment of equipment in the field, which guarantees the smooth operation of the expedition even in difficult conditions.
The 6O3T expedition plans activities on several bands and in various types of operation - SSB, CW and digital modes, emphasizing the fair distribution of connections for all world regions. Fabri, Mauro and Elvira have many years of experience in international DX expeditions and are known for their professional approach and thorough documentation of expeditions. Their goal is not only to "make connections", but also to introduce radio amateurs to the atmosphere from one of the most exotic regions of Africa.
The organizers emphasize that their new strategy is based on the experience gained in previous projects. This time they focus on bezpečnosť, efektívnu logistiku a environmentálnu ohľaduplnosť. Improved communication with local authorities and detailed planning allowed them to build a stable infrastructure and prepare operations even in case of unexpected situations. Their motto is: "New team, new thinking, same passion for DXing."

Somalia – a country of contrasts and challenges
Somalia, located on the eastern tip of Africa known as Horn of Africa, is a country with a rich history, but also a complex present. It borders Ethiopia, Kenya and Djibouti, while the long coastline of the Indian Ocean offers beautiful scenery and strategic locations for radio broadcasting. The country has gone through decades of internal conflicts, but in recent years it is gradually opening up to the world and rebuilding its infrastructure.
For radio amateurs, Somalia is extremely attractive - not only because of its geographical location, but also for its own rare availability on air. Every successful expedition from this region is therefore a valuable event that unites communities on all continents. 6O3T thus brings not only technical challenges, but also a symbol of hope, cooperation and global radio amateur solidarity.
