Sudan, with an area of 2.5 million km², the largest African country, was rare on amateur radio bands for many years. After the end of the civil war and the resumption of activities, amateur radio permits were again issued for domestic and foreign nationals. An expedition of 5 German radio amateurs under the ST0RY brand made more than 48,000 connections, including the 160 m band. Among the operators were also regular visitors to Holice - Dietmar DL3DXX and Falk DK7YY. The presentation of the expedition will be very interesting on Saturday afternoon in the large KD hall.
