Follow up QSO
-
OK/OL/OM establish connections only with OK/OL/OM stations.
-
Only individuals can participate. If a club station participates, it must be operated by only one operator.
-
You can work with each station only once during the race, or duplicate connections will not be counted. We recommend making duplicate QSOs if the station asks you to (have your electronic log set up to allow this). In the worst case, this QSO will not be counted for you.
-
QSOs can also be established in a mode in which the station is not competing. These connections must also be recorded in the diary. Only connections in the mode according to the category in which the station applied will be included in the final score. Other connections will be used for checking.
Competition code (multiplier)
-
It is submitted RS/RST + district emblem (eg 599 LVC or 59 DDO).
-
According to the division, the district coat of arms is valid until the end of 2001.

Points for QSOs
-
1 point for each valid connection.
-
1 multiplier for each unique district emblem.
-
For listeners, points are calculated in the same way, corresponding to the QSO data on the line.
-
With the diary in electronic form, it is not necessary to indicate points or multipliers.
The result
-
The total score is the product of the total number of points and the total number of unique multipliers.
-
With the diary in electronic form, it is not necessary to indicate the total number of points, they will be evaluated during processing.
Rules for listeners
-
Listeners can count each station only once, the number of opposing stations is not limited. A recorded connection is valid if it contains the date, UTC, station call sign, RS/RST being sent, contest code being sent, and counter station sign.
-
If both transmitted codes (multipliers) are caught, these are two QSOs and therefore two separate records, each on a separate line.

Diaries
-
All participants who use a computer to create a log will send the log as a data file.
-
The evaluator fundamentally prefers (and in the case of stations at the top of the results list assumes) race diaries in the format Cabrillo. It accepts both currently used versions 2.0 and 3.0. A properly configured electronic journal will usually export the correct data format.
-
For a diary in a different format, i.e. text ASCII (.txt) or table (.xls, .xlsx) or document (.doc, *.docx), it is necessary to send a summary, which you name, together with the file
calling_sign.sum(for exampleok9abc.sum). -
For diaries that are not in the Cabrillo format, the evaluator does not guarantee processing and inclusion in the competition.
Delivery of journals
-
Preferred Method: upload by robot via the web: http://hp.nagano.cz/ (only in Cabrillo format - instant check of formality and confirmation of receipt).
-
Emailing to: hp@ok1khl.com. In the "Subject" of the message, state the competitive call sign used. The files must be named according to the call sign used in the race, e.g.
ok1xxx.cbr. -
Sending to the postal address: Radioklub OK1KHL Holice, Bratří Čapků 871, 534 01 Holice, Czech Republic.
-
Before sending, check that your log contains all the necessary data (the received code is often missing).
-
We prefer to send diaries electronically, an electronic diary in any format is always better than a paper one! (Note: scanned paper is still considered paper, the data from it cannot be reasonably processed).
Deadline
-
All logs must be delivered by 14 days after the end of the race.
Evaluation
-
All QSOs that contain an error (wrong call signs, bad received codes) will not be counted.
-
If at least 3 competing stations establish a connection with the station that did not send the competition log, it is included in the evaluation "for inspection" and the connection is counted against the opposing stations. If less than 3 competing stations establish a connection with it, the connection is not verifiable and is not counted.
-
The tolerated mutual time deviation of the connection is 5 minutes.
-
In case of equal points, the number of connections in the first 20 (or 40, 60) minutes will decide.
-
Each category is evaluated separately. Prizes are awarded in categories in which at least 5 stations have applied.
-
All decisions of the competition committee are final.
Ranking, diplomas and prizes
-
In each category, each station that requests them will receive a diploma and a list of results.
-
Each station in first place in the category will receive a small "Holic Cup".
-
The station with the highest number of points also receives a large traveling "Holicky Cup" for a period of one year.
-
Stations with the highest number of points will be rewarded with material prizes in the value of:
-
-
place — CZK 1,500
-
-
-
place — CZK 1,000
-
-
-
place — CZK 500
-
-
-
If the station becomes the absolute winner in three years in a row, it gets a traveling cup for personal ownership.
Disqualification
-
Violation of the rules of the race, unsportsmanlike conduct or counting a large number of unverifiable connections may be sufficient grounds for disqualification.
