Popoludní a večer sú na programe VKV aktivity, napríklad AGCW DL VHF/UHF contest na 2 m a 70 cm, ktoré ponúkajú zaujímavú kombináciu FM, SSB a CW prevádzky.
During the first week of January, other important competitions start, such as the ARRL RTTY Roundup and regular activities OM Activity contest and various operational activities on KV bands. Low band enthusiasts will definitely not miss the Activity 160 m SSB and CW, which brings challenges and the opportunity to test antennas and performance in extreme conditions.
Vrchol januárového contestového programu je naplánovaný na koniec mesiaca, keď sa uskutoční legendárny CQ WW 160 m DX CW contest. Táto súťaž predstavuje vrchol low band DX aktivít a tradične pritiahne množstvo operátorov z celého sveta. Súčasne bežia aj ďalšie medzinárodné a regionálne súťaže, ako REF contest, BARTG RTTY Spring contest, či UBA contest, poskytujúce široké možnosti pre všetky úrovne operátorov.
