It is a very dense meteor shower with a relatively short maximum. The swarm will be active from January 1 to 6. It consists mainly of larger meteorites moving at a speed of 41 km/s. The number of reflections is very high 120 (60 -200 odrazov/hodinu). Predpovedať maximum Quadrantíd je veľmi obtiažne a len málokedy presné. Očakáva sa však ráno 4.januára o 6.00 UTC a šírka (doba kedy je ZHR >50%) je asi 6 hodín.
The most suitable times for connections in the axes: NE - SW 10 to 15 UT, E - W are not, NW - SE 24 to 04 UT and S - S 01 to 05 and 10 to 13 UT. Good luck and nice connections!
