Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic (TÚ SR), in connection with the upcoming ice hockey world championships, offers holders of radio amateur licenses the opportunity to broadcast with occasional call signs, e.g. OM1 to 0 IIHF, OM1 to 0 SZLH, or with other suitable ones. In the opinion of TÚ SR, this is a good opportunity to promote the World Championships in Slovakia, amateur radio broadcasting and, last but not least, the Slovak Republic. Holders of valid permits can request the allocation of an occasional call sign from the Slovak Technical Service by completing and delivering the prescribed application, to which they attach a stamp worth 3 euros.
