Results of the Winter QRP race at VKV

Súťažiaci na pásmach 144 MHz a 432 MHz predviedli veľmi vyrovnané výkony, pričom o popredných priečkach často rozhodovali desiatky kilometrov pri najdlhšom spojení, precíznosť pri vedení denníka a čo najmenšia chybovosť pri kontrole logov.

Results of the 144 MHz category

On 144 MHz, Vladimír OK1NOR dominated, who with 56 connections, declared 8885 points and a minimal error rate obtained the resulting 8654 points. His longest connection with DK7CM/p at a distance of 503 km confirmed excellent conditions and a high-quality 10-element yagi anténu. Druhé miesto obsadil OK2YT so 8061 bodmi, ktorý zároveň zaznamenal nulovú chybovosť. Tesne za ním skončil OK1KUO s 51 spojeniami a rovnako čistým logom. Jeho výsledných 7946 bodov podporilo spojenie s UT5DV na 460 km. Prvú päťku uzavreli OK1JFH a OK1YES, pričom všetci piati preukázali veľmi vyrovnaný výkon s vysokou efektivitou QSO.

An interesting moment was the performance of OM stations - OM3ID scored 3848 points and became the best-placed Slovak participant in the 144 MHz band. OM3RAL, OM2DT and other OM operators were also not lost, although the differences in results were significant.

Results of the 432 MHz category

In the 432 MHz band, OK2KOG clearly won, with 4823 points and 29 QSOs, he confirmed the stable leadership of his club even in the performance-demanding QRP category. His ODX with DR3M at 710 km, it was one of the longest connections of the competition. The second place was taken by OK1NOR - strong performance on 144 MHz was also supported on 70 cm, where he received 3790 points. Third place went to OK1KUO, who with 31 connections achieved a total of 3569 points.

Among the Slovak operators, OM3ID was the most successful, which confirmed its stable form with 20 connections and the resulting 2877 points. OM3RAL, OM1RV and OM6JO completed the Slovak representation in this category.

Overall ranking of competitors

In the combined evaluation of both bands, OK1NOR won the overall championship with a total of 12,444 points. OK1KUO finished second with 11,515 points, and OK2KOG took third place with 11,266 points. The top ten is rounded off by OM3ID as the most successful Slovak representative.

Winter QRP race at VHF thus again he showed that even low-power operation can bring excellent results, technical creativity and interesting DX connections.
