YJ0VK Vanuatu

Luke VK3HJ, Alan VK6CQ, Matt K0BBC and Chris VK3QB will activate Vanuatu and 40 to 6 meters from 29. marked 11. April 2024 if YJ0VK. During the first week they will focus on SSB a CW, whereas FT8 will serve as “reserve” mode. The second week it will be CW and FT8.

On SSB they will have IC7300 and 500W amplifier and CW station will be Elecraft KX3 with the SPE amplifier. FT8 will broadcast with IC7000. The antennas will be DX-Commander Expeditions and a 40-meter doublet.

As with their previous DX expeditions, this one is too “holiday”. The goal is to enjoy the beautiful location and take the opportunity to see as much of Efate as possible. We have three CW operators, so you can expect, that we will be quite active.
