It starts in a few hours CQ WW SSB contest 2013. It starts on Saturday 26th October at 00.00GMT and ends on Sunday 27th October at 23.59GMT. Only SSB in bands 160-10m in categories SO (QRP, LOW, HIGH) assisted/non-assisted, MO (MS, M2 and MM). OVERLAY categories for SO: Classic and Rookie can also be attractive. The exchanged code is composed of RST and CQ zones.
There are 3 points for a connection with a station on another continent, 1 point for a connection on your own continent but not your own country, and a connection within your own country is allowed to get multipliers, but it is not scored. The multipliers are:
1, one multiplier for each different contacted zone on each band
2, one multiplier for each different ground contacted on each band
