This suggests that we are past the peak of solar activity, as an X5.4 class eruption was recorded in 2012 and an X6.9 in 2011. A solar eruption of this kind will affect the propagation conditions on both the KV and the lower ones VHF bands. Keep a close eye especially on non-traditional spreading opportunities, e.g. 6m/4m/2m.
