TÚ SR issued 38 certificates and 49 permits for radio amateurs

In 2005, the Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic (TÚ SR) issued, after verification of special professional competence by examination, 38 amateur station operator certificates. Based on the requests, he granted 49 permits for amateur stations, canceled 5 permits and changed 280. TÚ SR handled 4 cases of violations of the law by radio amateurs in administrative proceedings, of which 3 were in the Bratislava region and 1 in the Žilina region. In three of the mentioned cases, he imposed a corrective measure, in none of the cases did he impose a fine.
