3DA0DL Kingdom of Eswatini

The team consisting of DK1BT Manfred, DL4WK Wolf, DL6SAK Annette and DL7BO Tom are already active from the Kingdom of Eswatini (former name Swaziland) how 3DA0DL. From To 9. November 2024 they will work with up to five stations on bands from 80 m do 10 m in CW modes, SSB a digi. The equipment consists of three Icom IC7300, two IC705, power amplifiers, SO2R “single operator, vertical for 160 a 80 m, 60 m loop-u, 40 m loop-u, 30 m loop-u, Spiderbeam antennas for bands from 20 m do 10 m, Spiderbeam antennas for bands from 30 m do 12 m, loop antennas for 20/15/10 m, HB9CV antenna for 17/12 m and beverage type antennas. In addition, the KG53pl locator was also able to operate via satellite QO-100.

If you prefer direct QSL, please send SASE or SAE s 1 new IRC or 2 USD for an international letter. Please check the expiration date when sending IRC, the new IRCs are valid until the end of the year 2023. Any donation is welcome and needed due to the high cost of postage.

If you do not provide the correct postage or self-addressed envelope, we will reply via bureau. Please, only one call sign per envelope! If there are more of them, all other cards go through the bureau.

Postage required for 1 envelope with 20 village (FYI): Letter within Germany = 85 cents, an international letter stands 1,10 €. 1 USD equals 96 a hundred. So keep in mind, that 1 USD – due to the unfavorable exchange rate between the USD and the euro – does not cover the postage required for an international air waybill!

We will upload the full logs of the DXpedition to LoTW until 6 months after its termination.

Kingdom of Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland, is a small landlocked country in southern Africa, which borders Mozambique and South Africa. Eswatini is known for its rich culture and traditions, which are alive in royal ceremonies such as Umhlanga, dance festival of young women. The country is also home to beautiful national parks, which provide shelter to many species of wild animals. Eswatini maintains a monarchy and the king is still a prominent figure.
