1. až 3. subregionálne preteky (subregionál) sú rádioamatérske VHF competitions in the bands from 144 MHz and above. They take place from Saturday 14:00 to Sunday 14:00 UTC, so that the 1st subregional on the first full weekend in March, the 2nd subregional on the first full weekend in May and the 3rd subregional on the first full weekend in July. It is also called Field Day.
The competition is conducted in CW and FONE modes, with SSB prevailing. The competition code consists of RS(T) + the sequence number of the connection from 001 + WW locator. One kilometer of distance covered is equal to 1 point. 1 point is counted for a connection with a station in the locator's own small square. The total result is given by the sum of the points for the connections.
