Sergey Samburov, RV3DR, announced that the ARISSat-1 battery will be charged at the end of July. The test of the entire system will be carried out on board the ISS from 19:15 on 30.8.2011 UTC to approx. 12:00–14:00 UTC on 31.8.2011.
The downlink in the 2 m band will be active and the same signal will also be broadcast on the 437.55 MHz downlink.
During the test, ARISSat-1 will be in FM mode and LOW power mode, which means transmitting in a sequence of 40 seconds with TX on and 2 minutes off. The linear transponder will be switched on only before the sharp launch of the satellite.
Hopefully someone will finally manage to catch the ARISSat-1 signal and it won't be just empty words without action and then the absence of a single word of explanation...
