Otherwise, it wasn't about goulash at all. Such a meeting at the end of the year is a good idea, even if it was born over a beer and a week before the deadline. How did it turn out? Good thank God. There was only one catch, at the end of the year I couldn't get any proper pot. I would have to change the dishes at home. It rained on Friday and we were able to start the invitation event. It was necessary to find out how much goulash would have to be cooked so that no one would go hungry. Tibor OM1TD on OM0OVV he gave regular information about the event and Miloš OM3AA undertook to inform on 3756 kHz in the ring. With great concern, I also put the info on the packet (past experience).
I took a risk and cooked about 40 portions in the home environment of the OM1AYL kitchen. She reminded me that during the last preparation, the whole house stank and the kitchen was in a deplorable state. Boris OM3BT promised to help with cooking, Ivan OM1CT provided the basic ingredients and the rest was up to me. It was necessary to ensure the prizes for the raffle, the premises and, of course, the recalculation of the price of the goulash in order to secure the rental of the premises. Otherwise, there was also a willing sponsor (don't tell my XYL) who would finance the possible difference.

In the end, everything was ready, the goulash was cooked, the premises were secured, and the raffle was promised. I was very pleasantly surprised by the participation itself. More than 40 people present did not refuse the treat. Evka OM1AED was irreplaceable when serving refreshments. It is true that in the end we found out that the price of the goulash could have been a little less, but energy costs something too. The raffle also helped. Those who did not come can only envy in silence. Prices as 100 pcs of CD media, receiver on 80m, a HamCom modem, coax, a set of connectors, various other interesting prizes, including a traveling paper notebook, were a worthy diversion to say goodbye to the radio amateur year 2004.
Thanks to the sponsors Garacomp from Púchov – OM4KW, ATT Slovakia – OM1ATT and radio amateurs like OM1CT, OM3AA, OM1II, OM3JA (whom I didn't name, please forgive me and if that would be enough as an apology, I'll pay for the beer). The biggest satisfaction was watching the smiles on the faces, the beaming looks and the passionate debates on various topics. The joy of the joint meeting was definitely enjoyed by everyone, apart from me.
