On November 2-4, 2012, Jaro/OM1II and Luboš/OK2BVG/OM9AAI decided to transmit and make some nice connections on medium waves in the 630 meter band. Information about CW simplex operation, split or crossband will be provided directly on the broadcast frequency, or on the Internet in a DX-cluster.

Estimated frequency plan:
Simplex - 472.5 kHz +/- QRM
Split – 472.5 / 502 kHz +/- QRM
Crossband – 472.5 / 3547 kHz +/- QRM
Equipment:
630m – Kenwood TS-590 + PA 25 W
80m – ICOM IC-7000
Antenna:
630m – Marconi's T antenna
80m – dipole
With this event, they not only want to remember the band, which in the past also belonged to maritime navigation, but also to remind that from 2013 there will probably be a place for radio amateurs on this band, in the 472-479 kHz segment. For the stated reasons and out of nostalgia for this band, they will broadcast directly from the ship, which was lent for this purpose by the company Slovenská plavba a přinátý a.s. (http://www.spap.sk and http://www.plavba.net/products/zitava/).
If you want to test the sensitivity of your devices on medium waves, tune the radios and call.

Jaro and Luboš will welcome any connection, whether SWL report, which will be rewarded handsomely QSL a ticket with a current topic. However, force majeure or unsuitable weather, which would have a major impact on medium wave propagation conditions, can ruin the event.
They look forward to hearing from you - Jaro/OM1II and Luboš/OK2BVG/OM9AAI
