Just recently you could read about an interesting application for a mobile phone by Jirk Klír, CB Locators. This app is used to calculate distances and azimuth (plus other things) on a mobile phone that supports Java. Jirka read the requests for improvements and included them in the new versions. I say versions on purpose, because there are up to four of them:
-

CB Locator main screen version 4.00 - NS60 Gold Edition for phones: Nokia 7650, 7610, 3650, N-Gage, 6600, N-Gage2; Sony Ericsson K700; Motorola V300, V500, V525, V600; Samsung SGH-D410; ... and other phones with a minimum display resolution of 176x208px
- version 4.00 – NS40 Gold Edition for phones: Nokia 7210, 6610, 6100, 3100, 3200, 3300, 5100, 7250, 6800, etc.; Siemens C65, M65; Motorola C650, V220; Samsung SGH-X100, X600, C100, S300, SGH-E100, E700, E800, X450, X450; Alcatel 735i, 756, 565; ... and other phones with a minimum display resolution of 128x128px
- version 4.00 – CZ Gold Edition, Czech version for any phone supporting Java
- version 4.00 – SK Gold Edition, Slovak version for any phone supporting Java
News in version 4.00: graphic color version for Nokia series 60 and 40 phones, other simple versions of the application (also in Slovak!), changed CB Locator icon and most importantly fine-tuned all functions of the program.
The last one is absolutely the most important, during testing I did not manage to screw up the application (compared to the older version). In short, a program at a level that will be difficult to surpass.
