I met Charles almost twenty years ago. I was the youngest to join the team. MW5W pre CQ WW DX contest. Jedným z nich bol M0OXO. Byť v spoločnosti zapálených ľudí pre rádioamatérčenie a Contesting bolo neuveriteľnou vzpruhou. Charles toho veľa nenahovoril, ale vedel počúvať. Spomínam si aj na duel a year later, when Ant MW0JZE broadcasted on 40m for the first 24 hours and Charles for the second 24 hours. It was a duel until the last minutes. Their operator qualities are excellent.

He became one of the first QSL managers to be approached with the request to cover many large DX expeditions. He does not only deal with the "big ones", but also handles many smaller stations around the world. He converted his garage into a small office and you can find him there from early morning until late at night in all weathers, including winter, when the temperature inside is only just above freezing. He is a true example of someone who serves the DX community by going far beyond the call of duty. This is the main reason why M0OXO was inducted into the CQ DX Hall of Fame. Thanks for meeting us, Charles!
