    For the Day of UHF/SHF Records 2003, the high level of technical readiness and operator skills of radio amateurs in OM was confirmed again. In a competition held within IARU Region 1 UHF/MW Contestu, sa zúčastnilo množstvo staníc naprieč pásmami od 432 MHz až po 10 GHz, pričom súťažiaci súťažili v jednotlivých kategóriách Single a Multi. Celková kontrola zahŕňala 235 súťažných denníkov zaregistrovaných v IARU Region 1, čo zaručilo presnosť a spoľahlivosť výsledkov.

    In the 432 MHz Single category, OM3TZQ dominated with 37,060 points, followed by OM1DK and OM5LD, confirming strong competition in the band. The multi category on the same band saw OM3W win with a record score of 72,852 points, with other stations also putting in impressive performances thanks to a combination of power and efficient antenna systems.

    On the 1.3 GHz band, the Single category became the domain of OM5CM, while the Multi category was dominated by OM3U. In the 2.3 and 5.7 GHz bands, the contestants showed their ability to work with low power and sophisticated antennas, with the highest scores achieved by OM3KEE and OM3U. In the 10GHz region, both Single and Multi, operators demonstrated extremely accurate and stable connections, with OM3LQ and OM3U the winners.

    The results clearly demonstrate the diversity and dynamics of UHF/SHF records, while individual stations were able to combine technical maturity, operator skill and optimization of antenna equipment. The evaluation was carried out by Milan/OM5KM and Palo/OM5CM, while the entire competition provided an insight into the current possibilities of Slovak and foreign radio amateurs in high-frequency bands.
