The OTC SARA Memorial (CW) 2018 is one of the major telegraph races organized by the SARA Old Timers Club. This race is held every year with the aim of promoting activity on the bands, practicing telegraphy operation and at the same time measuring the strength of individual participants. The competition takes place on short waves of 80m.
In 2018, more than twenty stations from Slovakia and abroad participated in the competition. Na popredných priečkach sa umiestnili predovšetkým skúsení operátori a dlhoroční členovia OTC. The winner was station OM100CSR with a gain of 69 points and 29 connections, followed by stations OM8ON (OTC 56) and OM5CM (OTC 389), which achieved the same number of points - 68. The difference between the best was therefore minimal, which indicates the high level of competitors.
Complete results, including connection times with the OM9OT station and other information about the course of the race, are available in a clear table, while diplomas for participants are available in electronic form. The organizers thank all the operators for their participation and the high-quality competitive atmosphere.
