Even this year we did not have many stations broadcasting from field QTH. It's a big pity because this group closely represents the conditions in which our soldiers and partisans fought for the uprisings. Only OM2RC, OM6SA, and OM8AQ formed a line of 'brave adventurers' HI. The weather was rainy before and during the race, and I was very lucky under Rozsutec when it poured all Saturday and Sunday, only clearing up for about two hours when I managed to stretch the antenna while cutting. The bear did not show up for a visit this year, but the mice had a party on the table in the cabin.an obstacle course between screwdrivers and other tools. When I shone a light on them at night, they didn't mind at all and continued foraging.
SNP Trophy 2004
Since 2004 marks the 60th anniversary of the SNP, we decided to award the SNP Trophy 2004 to all winners of individual categories regardless of the number of participants.
Age of participants
As for the age of the competitors, we missed our old acquaintance elder Gejza Illes, OM8CA, but at the age of 75, he was replaced by Miro Paulík, OM3EK. The youngest participant was 18-year-old Peter Badžgoň, OM6APB. As the youngest participant, Peter will receive a special prize. All other participants will receive a Diploma for the SNP 2004 competition. We will send the diplomas along with the evaluation, and the SNP 2004 trophies a little later.
Addendum
To my last year's comments and explanations just a small addition. We number connections continuously in both stages, i.e., that in the second stage we continue numbering from the first stage, so we do not start over again. There were also many duplicate multipliers, especially among postal codes. One postal code sometimes uses more stations and the nonsense that you program into your 'smart' computers will ultimately spit out nonsense again. These computer logs often do not show the necessary data, such as address, name, year, or category. However, they are full of unnecessary data that push out important data when sent over a computer network. Please use the prescribed forms for writing logs! We do not have time to play detectives. Some participants say that the race is challenging but very interesting, while others say that its difficulty for the amateur radio brain and operating skills discourages many more timid individuals from participating. However, I am convinced that each of us has enough abilities to participate in this race, but one must decisively decide and engage in the battle in the ether, and your skills hidden under a dried layer of comfort, monotony, and life disappointment will shine in full beauty. Participation in this seemingly difficult race will give you confidence, precision, and a newtaste for adventure and success. If this challenge does not move you, then you might as well participate in easy mechanical races, where electronic machines will make the connection for you with the press of the 'X' button and, after pressing the 'Y' button, will spit out and possibly send the log as well. The question is whether you will even remember what race you went to and where its soul was.
We send all participants of the SNP race samples of diaries, title pages, as well as a sample of a written diary together with the evaluation, so everyone can send a perfect diary that can be easily evaluated.

HI. Hľadajte aj signály Slovákov a Čechov ktorí budú vysielať zo zahraničia. Šaňo OM3TY navrhol a postavil malý prenosný QRP transceiver which is ideally suited for this race and named it SNPáčik.
