FT4GL – Glorieuses Archipelago

Operation FT4GL planned for more than a year with great effort, she will be rewarded in the end. It will be atypical and demanding, because the Glorieuses Archipelago are on 7. place in the list of the most requested DXCCs and radio amateur operation will be carried out exclusively by a single radio amateur, Marek FH4VVK, concurrently with his professional duties.

Operation is scheduled from 24. May to 19. June 2024. Marek does know CW, but he has very little experience with this mod and therefore decided to skip it. As a result, it was decided, that the FT8 station will be active at the same time as another station operating in SSB or RTTY, from 160 do 10 m. There will be no stations on 6m, EME, QO100… Due to the limited internet connection, the live stream of the log will not be available either.

Glorieuses Archipelago

The Glorieuses Archipelago is a small group of islands in the Indian Ocean. They are located approx 160 kilometers to the northeast of Madagascar. This archipelago belongs to the French administration and is part of the French territorial dependency in the Indian Ocean.
