FT8 DX Contest Rules 2021
1 – Date

2 – Bands and mode
80, 40, 20, 15 a 10 meters in FT8 mode. Any station can work with any other station. Stations can be operated in one band at a time.
3 – Categories
Single Operator LOW (100 W or less)
Single Operator QRP (5 W or less)
Multioperator LOW (100 W or less)
Multioperator QRP (5 W or less)
4 – Code exchanged
4.1 USA: Report and state (except KH6 and KL7).
4.2 Canada: Report a provincia.
4.3 DX: Report and sequential serial number, starting with 001 (including KH6 and KL7).
5 – Scoring
5.1 Body QSO: One point for each QSO performed.
5.2 Multipliers: Every US state (except KH6 and KL7) plus District of Columbia (DC), Canadian provinces / territories: NB (VE1, 9), NS (VE1), QC (VE2), ON (VE3), MB ( VE4), SK (VE5), AWAY (VE6), BC (VE7), NWT (VE8), NF (VO1), LB (VO2), NOT (VYØ), YT (VY1), PEI (VY2) and every DXCC country. KH6 and KL7 are counted as separate DXCC entities only.
5.2.1 Multipliers are counted only once (not once in one band).
5.2.2 The US and Canada do not count as DXCC entities.
6 – Diaries
Cabrillo items contain a header and a complete list of QSOs. All logs must be emailed to 18. April 2021 O 23:59 UTC in Cabrillo format to europeanft8club@gmx.com
7 – Differently
Participants must use WSJT-X (latest version) or MSHV (latest version)
The proposed frequencies are: 3,590-3,600, 7,080-7,100, 14,130-14,150, 21,130-21,150 a 28,160-28,200 MHz.
Set the WSJT-X tuning frequency to a multiple 2 kHz, for example 14,132 MHz. (Note from Japan: Use for JA-JA and JA-DX contacts 3,522, 7,032, 14,078, 21,078 a 28,078MHz.
Note: The WSJT-X development team designs, that operating stations select integral multiples as their audio transmission frequencies 200 Hz and checked the TX EVEN box / 1st. Search and discharge stations (S + P) should call on frequencies 0, 60 or 120 Hz above the normal frequency. The WSJT-X user interface has tools, which facilitate these settings. 8 – Diplomas
Certificates will be awarded to all participants and can be downloaded online.
