IARU Region 1 is organizing another emergency communication exercise of ARES amateur radio stations under the name GlobalSET, which will take place on Saturday November 8th from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM UTC.
The activity itself will take place near the CoA (Center-of-Activity) +/- QRM frequencies. Therefore, we ask for your patience during the specified time and, if possible, avoid broadcasting near frequencies 3760, 7060, 14300, 18160, 21360 kHz. Nakoľko vysielanie bude prebiehať v ranných hodinách, môže dôjsť k vzájomnému rušeniu v ranných SSB krúžkoch a v OM Aktivity conteste. Stanice v tomto cvičení nevolajte a nerušte ich vysielanie. Komunikácia bude prebiehať iba medzi stanicami, ktoré boli do cvičenia ohlásené.
ARES stations from all IARU regions will participate in the exercise. ARES SZR will be represented at this exercise by station OM9HQ. You can listen to the broadcast on the mentioned frequencies or watch it directly at the meeting of radio amateurs in Tatranské Matliary, from where OM9HQ will be broadcasting during the exercise.
