I read about how some "radio amateurs" can spoil the joy of fellow beginners by showing their perfection and the beginners' incompetence. However, in my case it was a little different. When I timidly (even though I'm old enough) sent my first challenge on the air, nothing happened. I waited to see if I did everything right, I tested my transmitter and that's where it started. Don't try, but rather talk! I realized that what came out of the speaker was true for me! I tried to connect again and wow it works! On the first day I made two connections and found that on the other end there were pleasant people who knew the beginner and still took him! I want to thank my COLLEAGUES who took me through the threshold and gave me the opportunity to enjoy my hobby. My thanks go to colleagues and certainly friends OM1AVL and OM1AMH for what we call HAM SPIRIT.
Sincerely, Jano OM1AWT
