Midway Island KH4 patrí medzi najžiadanejšie zeme DXCC (24th worldwide, 13th in the EU). That is why the international team of operators chose it as the destination of the expedition. The team K4M začne prevádzku 9.októbra a potrvá desať dní, do 19.októbra 2009. V prevádzke bude päť – šesť staníc v pásmach 160m – 6m.
