While they are currently arriving Ursids (December 17-26 with a maximum around December 22), we are more interested in the January ones Quadrantids. This meteor shower is one of the abundant ones with a predicted maximum January 2-4, 2021. However, the maximum is relatively short.
ZHR should reach 120 (45 to 200). The swarm consists mainly of from larger particles moving at a speed of 41.5 km/s.
