Broadcast from Čeklís Castle it wasn't that big of a problem. We took the essentials. Martin, OM1MJ put YAESU FT-817, telegraph key, microphone, folding antenna in his backpack yagi, a telescopic 3.5 m mast and a notepad.
In three minutes we were already at Várdomba, because it is about 250 m from the house. This Hungarian name means Castle Hill (Castle Hill). It is an elevation above Čierna voda, a local part of Bernolákov. We built a home-made collapsible mast (rather mast) with an antenna. Then Martin turned it on TCVR and turned the antenna. We made it according to instructions of Tomáš, OK1GTH. But we haven't really tried it yet. The antenna was pointing, we heard a lot of interesting stations on the band, and Martin was pleased with the first connection. It was with E77P, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Stations from the south began to appear in the diary, Polish, Czech and Slovak stations from the north, telegraph connections were also added. A neighbor who has a garden opposite came to see us. He stood with us for a very long time, he listened with interest, he liked it, but he didn't understand anything. So I patiently explained to him our amateur radio activity, what kind of radio we have and the antenna, where Martin just called. Tourists on bicycles also came. Before lunch, the sun began to burn mercilessly. Martin completed the 25th connection and had enough! We quickly packed everything, the neighbor said goodbye to us and we went to lunch. After lunch, there was no continuation of the broadcast.

Next time we will prepare a more comfortable workplace with a table, a chair and some umbrella. The water tower is to become an observation tower, we are already looking forward to it!
