On Wednesday 10/18/2006 at 16:56 UTC another amateur optical connection was made. The connection was made by Rado OM2ZZ and Radioklub OM3Kii op. Robo ex. OM1ARL. A distance of 26.9 kilometers was covered. The connection was established by modulated radiation in the red spectrum.
