The satellite is in geostationary orbit at position 25.8° East, its transponders will be officially launched on February 22, 2019. His Excellency Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah – A71AU, former Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar and Chairman of the Qatar Amateur Radio Society (QARS) will also attend the official ceremony.
The signal from the satellite can now be watched online on the WEB SDR receivers. Although the transponder is already on, do not attempt to operate the PSE until it is officially released!!!
