This year, a total of 42 operators - 25 OM stations and 17 OK stations - took part in the competition, which testifies to the stable interest of the radio amateur community from both countries. The race was organized to test not only the individual skills of the operators, but also the effectiveness of their antenna systems and the ability to quickly react to changing conditions during the race.
The results list reflects the difficulty of the competition and provides an overview of the best performances in categories A1, A2, A3 and B1, B2, B3. In the A1 category among OM stations, OM6MW dominated with an excellent 17,100 points, followed by OM7AG and OM3REU. Among OK stations in this category, OK2KMO performed best with 19,825 points, thus confirming its stable performance in international competition. In the A2 category, OM3CGN took the lead with 25,146 points and OK2BKP with 24,090 points. The A3 category saw exceptionally high scores for OM3LO with 54,150 points and OM3GI with 52,900 points, while OK1MSP dominated with 36,190 points.
The results of the SNP 2004 race show not only the technical abilities of individual operators, but also the dynamism and competitiveness of the OM and OK community. The race provided valuable experience, strengthened cooperation between stations and showed that the tradition of the SNP race remains one of the key points of the amateur radio calendar. The evaluation of the diaries was ensured by A. Korda OM6SA and the control was carried out by OK 1 JFP, which ensured the objectivity and accuracy of the evaluation.
