| Journal to review: OK2PMS, OK2ZJ, OM7YA, OM5JA, OM4TC, OM6MW, OK2BMI / see further / further "sent" log OK1EV. But his diskette was empty. A few more OK stations participated in the race, but for the first time it happened that more stations were from OM!!!!!!! You don't know what it is??? | |
| NOT ASSESSED - disqualified: OK2BMI | |
| Reason: OK2BMI sent a log with 130 connections - written by hand. Just looking at the diary, I have a few QSO seemed suspicious to say the least. I transcribed the log and upon evaluation it turned out that OK2BMI was the only one making connections with several stations, even some on each leg and on both bands. And the more interesting thing is that these were stations from his district / even his collective and nephew /. I made sure by phone with the two mentioned stations that they have not participated from the plant for a long time. Therefore, as an evaluator, I suggested to the organizer that OK2BMI be disqualified, and after the agreement it was done. It is published to let the general public know why this happened. What is striking is that he unabashedly signed the affidavit. | |
Evaluator's comment:
This year I also asked some Slovak stations to send me a diary so that I would have more diaries to evaluate, because this year there were a record few diaries. All my friends from OM agreed with me, for which I publicly thank them.
On this occasion, I wondered why the plant is evaluated separately in each country. When I get few logs, a few stations are unique and theoretically these connections should be deleted, so I asked my friends at OM.
Unfortunately, this year I couldn't watch the day on the strip (except for about 3 minutes). It is surprising how few OK stations participated in the race. And there is a trend of less and less participation, and the number of delivered diaries is also related to this. The race again lacked promotion. And of course that has to do with it. Even this year, more paper diaries arrived than in electronic form.
