Results of SLP 4/2005

The fourth round of the SLP 2005 competition brought significant shifts in the ranking among shortwave listeners (SWL). In the current round, Lars Aström (SM7-8190) won first place with 7840 points, just ahead of Gabriele Antonielli (I5-1990) with 7198 points and Jozef Marcincák (OM3-0001) with 6776 points. The other places were occupied by experienced listeners Hans Lambregts (NL7403) and Gosse Helmus (NL13181), who maintained stable results, while the differences between individual participants were minimal in some cases.

The running order after four stages shows that the I5-1990 leads with a total score of 39,756 points, followed by the OM3-0001 with 31,986 points and the SM7-8190 with 27,525 points. The results of SLP 4/2005 thus confirmed the importance of consistent and accurate operation in capturing signals and reward those who can score regularly in all rounds.

Even after the fourth round, the SLP competition provides an overview of the current level of activity of SWL operators and enables the performance of participants from different countries to be compared.
