The Telecommunication Union of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Association of Radio Amateurs have joined forces to bring amateur radio broadcasting closer to the lay public. In cooperation with editor Mária Babinská, we have filmed a series about amateur radio, which you can listen to in the week from 18.5. to 22.5.2026 after the news after 8:00 h. on the broadcast of the Rádio Regina Západ station. The series will also be available in the radio archive.
In the broadcast you will hear statements from several radio amateurs not only from western Slovakia. We recorded the introduction in the radio building, then we moved to the OM3KFF radio club and we also recorded something remotely (with radio amateurs from eastern Slovakia). The editor recorded a large amount of interesting material, but not everything fit into the broadcast. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding, friends.
