I received comments from participants of the SSB League regarding excess pressure on the band. In particular, they pointed to the fact that the used 75 kHz is really small with a relatively large participation. At the same time, it has been the case for several years that the lower segment can also be used. A few individuals made efforts to broadcast in the lower segment as well, however, the majority did not get carried away and the result is today a situation where racing in the SSB League basically does not take place in the lower segment. It is a great pity not only because of the space, but also because in OK, license holders of the Novice class, and thus especially youth, cannot broadcast in the upper segment, where the operation takes place today.

I would like to change this, so I decided to send out a call to the radio amateur community to use the lower segment. In order to start the use of this segment, I promised that I will broadcast the first three rounds in 2021 exclusively in the lower segment. I invited the other participants to join me. With all the positive feedback, it looks like I won't be broadcasting alone in the lower segment, HI. I am very happy and appreciate the support of other SSB League participants. I will be most pleased when the operators of the Novice class and especially our youth also speak at the plant.
The frequency range is now very clearly described in the terms of the plant at the address http://ssbliga.nagano.cz/prop.php. For completeness, I will list it here: 3.620-3.650 kHz and 3.700-3.775 kHz
