On April 21, 2003, on Easter Monday, another year of the popular race "Spring sprint with small performance" was held, organized by the Slovak Association of Radio Amateurs. This event is dedicated to all enthusiasts QRP and medium performers who want to test their skills in operation on various bands with an emphasis on efficiency and technical skill.
Competitors were divided into several categories according to the power used and the number of bands – from 1 W to 5 W to 100 W, which enabled the comparison of the results of operators with differently equipped workplaces. The race attracted both domestic and foreign radio amateurs and brought a lot of interesting connections, where the deciding factor was not only the strength of the signal, but also the skill of the operators and the quality of the antennas. The results show a high level of participants and confirm the popularity of this spring event.
