I turned it on before midnight tonight TCVR. On the 160m band, I heard a station from the USA broadcasting CQ DX. After a short call, I called. Rob, W1MK uses powerful antenna systems. I searched the Internet for more detailed information about his antennas:

I use tcvr KENWOOD TS-870S and a grounded vertical loop antenna of around 86m length, which I operate on all bands. The antenna is fixed about 12m above the ground, which is not enough for DX connections on the 160m band.
