Hello to all OMs, I've read many times what radio amateurs are for, and that it's on the decline anyway [after all, we have cell phones...]. I have to say based on my experience that in addition to fun and a great feeling of connection, it also has a practical side. Based on Murphy's Law, the car breaks down at night and it must be cold outside. A place outside of civilization near the RS is also ideal. My great and only luck was Vlado OM3TWM sitting next to me, who had the number of Tibor OM3CRB. Tibor, known for relationships and phone numbers, because he is from RS, arranged a towing service. What at first looked like pure desperation was fixed in 40 minutes and the car was already sitting on the platform.
Once again, many thanks to friends with the same OM3CRB and OM3TWM.
I would probably still be there today [or possibly lightened by our minority...].
