The World Radiosport Team Championship 2026 (WRTC 2026) was held on 11 and 12 July 2026 in the counties of Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire in the United Kingdom. Fifty teams of two operators competed in a 24-hour IARU HF World Championship under the same conditions: identical antenna sets, same maximum power, workplace assigned by lot and a judge directly at each station. The final results were published by the WRTC 2026 UK organization on July 13, 2026 on the website wrtc2026.org after checking the logs.

WRTC 2026 Opening Ceremony
Summary
WRTC 2026 brought the first ever title defense: VE3DZ and UW7LL also won at WRTC 2022 in Bologna and now confirmed their dominance on the British stations. Their final logo error rate was 0.8% – one of the lowest in the entire field – which is evidence of disciplined work in the pileup even at higher speeds of operation. What is interesting about the final table compared to the preliminary results is the significant shift of some teams: the team RW7K and KU1CW, who did not finish with points in the live scoreboard, finally finished in 9th place with 6,291,120 points – apparently it was a live data transmission failure, not a real operation failure. On the contrary, the team LZ4AX and LZ3FN, who were in 48th place on the preliminary live table, jumped to 13th place in the final ranking.
The Slovak team of OM2VL and OM3RM took 18th place with a result of 6,001,476 points and a low error rate of 0.7%, which ranks it among the most technically reliable teams in the field. The Czech team of OL5Y and OK6RA finished in 30th place (5,587,784 points). Both Central European teams worked mainly in CW mode (70–78% QSO in telegraphy), which corresponds to the standard approach of contest specialists on the HF bands. According to tradition, the next WRTC will take place in four years.
