On Saturday, December 18, 2004, a regular meeting of HAMs was held in Veľky Inovec. At the end of the year, amateurs from Zlaty Moraviec, Nitra, Levice, Bratislava, Banská Bystrica, Piešťany, Bánoviec, Žiar nad Hronom shook hands, and the not-so-friendly weather for traveling didn't deter even Stan OM8AQ from Košice, who came to Inovec with his whole family of radio amateurs, and also Fera OK1NOF from Brandýs nad Labem. The cottage was bursting at the seams (estimated around 50 participants) and the organizer of the meeting, Karol OM5KP, told us that next year's meeting will probably be moved to the nearby cottage in Drozdov, where there are better conditions in terms of access, capacity and accommodation options.
